1: Discovery & Consultation

We start with a one-on-one conversation to understand your style, needs, and goals for the space. This helps us align on vision and budget before moving forward.

2: Design & Planning

Next, we create a custom design plan — complete with mood boards, color palettes, layouts, and material selections — so you can visualize every detail before implementation.

3: Execution & Styling

Once the design is approved, we bring it all to life. From coordinating with contractors to adding the final decorative touches, we handle it all to ensure a stunning result.

What happens when I hire you to design my home?

When you hire me, the process is personalized, flexible, and designed to make your experience stress-free—whether we work together virtually, in person, or a mix of both.

We’ll start with a discovery call to understand your space, your style, your goals, and your budget. From there, I’ll recommend the service that fits you best—whether that’s a curated Design-in-a-Box package you can implement at your own pace, or a more hands-on in-home experience.

Depending on your package, you’ll receive a combination of:

- Personalized moodboards and color palettes

- Furniture and decor sourcing tailored to your space

- Floor plans and layout suggestions

- Styling guides and/or 3D renderings

- In-person visits or virtual styling sessions

Do I need to redesign my whole house, or can we do just one room?

Not at all—you can absolutely start with just one room!

Whether you’re looking to refresh a single space, furnish a new home, or tackle a full-home redesign, I offer flexible packages to suit your needs. Many clients begin with one room (like a living room or bedroom) and build from there once they see the transformation.

Each design package—whether for one room or many—is tailored to your space, your style, and your budget. And because I offer both virtual and in-person services, you can choose the pace and format that works best for you.

How do you decide what styles and colors to use?

Every project begins with you—your taste, your lifestyle, and the way you want your space to feel.

We start with a discovery session where I learn about your preferences, how you use the space, and any inspiration you’ve gathered (like Pinterest boards or saved images). You’ll also complete a brief style questionnaire to help guide the creative direction.

From there, I develop a custom moodboard and color palette that reflects your style and suits the space. Whether we’re working virtually or in person, the goal is to create a design that feels like a natural extension of you—balanced, beautiful, and easy to live in.

 Can you work with what I already have in my home?

Yes — and I often do!

Many clients already have great pieces they love, and I’m happy to work with your existing furniture, art, or décor. Whether you want to reuse a few key items or incorporate nearly everything, I’ll design around what you already own to create a refreshed, cohesive look.

During our consultation (virtual or in-person), I’ll assess what works well, what might be repurposed, and what could be added to elevate the space. This approach not only saves money but also keeps your space feeling personal and authentic.

How much does it cost to work with you?

My services are designed to be flexible and approachable, with packages to fit a range of budgets.

You can start with a single-room Design-in-a-Box package from $499 CAD, which includes a personalized moodboard, layout plan, and curated shopping list—all delivered digitally. For clients who want more detailed visuals or hands-on support, packages range up to $1,499 CAD and include options like 3D renderings, virtual styling sessions, and in-home visits (if you're local).

Custom quotes are also available for full-home projects, renovations, or real estate staging.

Whether you prefer to DIY with expert guidance or want full-service support, I’ll work with you to find a solution that fits your needs and budget.

How long does the design process take?

The timeline depends on the scope of your project and the package you choose—but I always aim to make the process efficient, collaborative, and smooth.

For Design-in-a-Box packages, most clients receive their full digital design plan within 2 to 3 weeks after the initial consultation. Premium or full-service packages, which may include 3D renderings, sourcing, or in-person styling, can take 3 to 5 weeks or longer depending on complexity.

Need it faster? Expedited options and rush upgrades are available for most packages.

No matter the pace, I keep communication clear and timelines realistic—so you always know what to expect and when.

Do I need to be involved in every decision?

Not unless you want to be!

Some clients love being hands-on and involved in every detail, while others prefer to take a step back and let me handle the creative direction. Either way works.

At the start of your project, we’ll clarify how involved you’d like to be. You’ll always have the opportunity to review and approve key elements—like color palettes, furniture selections, or layout plans—but I’m here to streamline the process so you don’t feel overwhelmed.

My goal is to make design feel exciting and effortless—whether you want to collaborate closely or just see it all come together beautifully.

What if I’m not sure I’ll like the final design?

That’s a completely natural concern—and it’s why I’ve built flexibility and collaboration into every step of the process.

Before any final design is delivered, we’ll start with a discovery session and style questionnaire to make sure I understand your taste, needs, and goals. You’ll also receive moodboards and concept previews early on, with opportunities to give feedback and request revisions (the number of included revisions depends on your package).

Whether we’re working online or in person, the process is designed to be transparent, low-pressure, and tailored to you. My goal isn’t just to create a beautiful space—it’s to create one that you truly love living in.
